Each family is the responsibility of exactly one active doula at a time, enforced at the database, not by policy. Hand off a case and access moves with it; nobody lingers in a birth they have left.
You coordinate coverage, not case content
As the admin, your board shows coverage, roster, counts, and who is assigned where. It never opens a birth plan, a message thread, or a timing log. The care content stays with the doula doing the care.
Backups are bounded and revocable
